Gurhof Castle is one of the most historically significant sites in Lower Austria. Located just 55 minutes from Vienna, between the Wachau region and St. Pölten, the castle was built around the year 1484.

The banquet hall captivates with its exclusive Tuscan charm and shines in an elegant ambiance following a comprehensive renovation, featuring stylish decor. Receptions can be held both in the castle park, which impresses with its late Baroque elements, and on the sunny south-facing terrace.

Schloss Gurhof offers a tailor-made setting for every wedding, perfectly adapting to the unique wishes of each couple. Its versatile spaces allow for unforgettable celebrations—regardless of weather, guest numbers, or style preferences. A spacious parking area is located directly in front of the castle, providing ample space for all guests arriving by car. On the castle grounds, you have access to the magnificent banquet hall, the modern orangery with an adjoining terrace, the expansive castle park, and the charming chapel.

The magnificent banquet hall at Schloss Gurhof can accommodate up to 200 guests for an elegant gala dinner and even up to 300 people for a stylish cocktail reception with standing tables and bar stools. The hall has been lovingly renovated with high-quality materials and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. A premium sound system and microphones are available, and the atmospheric lighting can be easily controlled via tablet to create a truly unforgettable ambiance.

The orangery

The orangery is a true highlight at any event. With an area of around 80 m², it provides the perfect setting for elegant receptions, top-tier catering, or lively celebrations that continue late into the evening. The orangery connects not only directly to the banquet hall but also to a spacious 200 m² terrace, ideal for receptions, BBQs, or special program highlights. It is a place of togetherness, where unforgettable encounters and festive moments come to life.

The chapel at Schloss Gurhof

The chapel at Schloss Gurhof provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable civil or religious wedding ceremony. Up to 120 guests can experience the ceremony up close and share the special moment of exchanging vows. Centrally located in the main building, the chapel offers direct access to the idyllic castle park, which, with its romantic rose pavilion, creates a magical backdrop for further unforgettable moments.
